On Monday, February 27 students from the Caldwell Applied Sciences Academy headed to Wilkes Community College for the 2023 SkillsUSA Regional Rally Conferences. These are one-day conferences designed to provide competition experience and exposure at a more relaxed atmosphere and event, leading up to better preparation for the State Conference and Competitions. This year, there were 520 students at the conferences.

Lia, Joseph, and Cristian competed as a team in Promotional Bulletin Board. They were awarded first place in the competition. Kiera competed in Prepared Speech. She was awarded third place in the competition. These students represented the Advanced Technologies Academy superbly.

These students will use what they learned from this day of competitions to prepare for the SkillsUSA State Conference in April.
