During the month of December, the SkillsUSA club added some holiday cheer to the hallways of G-Building. Mrs. Parker, the sponsor of the SkillsUSA club, provided a Christmas tree with lights for the students to decorate. The Engineering Academy students helped decorate the tree by designing and 3D printing ornaments in the shapes of bells and gears. The Advanced Technologies Academy students helped decorate the tree by designing and printing paper people ornaments. The students used a template in Adobe Photoshop to design a paper person that looked like themselves. Do you recognize anyone on the tree?
The SkillsUSA club meets on the second Tuesday of each month in Mrs. Parker’s classroom. Students, please consider joining this amazing club because it’s a great opportunity for developing leadership and technical skills that will help you throughout life.
