March was Women’s History Month and to celebrate the Advanced Technologies Academy students participated in a poster design contest. The Women’s History Month Poster Contest was sponsored by the Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute Student Government Association. The students were asked to design an original poster of their favorite historic or current woman. The poster required a picture or representation of the woman, a biographical statement about the woman and her contribution to society, and a statement about why this woman is an inspiration. Once the poster was designed the students could submit their poster into one of four categories: Best Overall, Most Creative, Most Original, and Most Informative. One winner would be chosen for each category and receive a $50 gift card.

Congratulations to Jade and Callie for both receiving an award for Best Overall. Callie also received an award for Most Creative. Congratulations to Sarah for receiving an award for having the Most Informative poster.

a display of all the posters printed out and hung on a bulletin board.
The posters were displayed by the CCC&TI SGA on campus in the E Building.
