The SkillsUSA state conference is the largest showcase of Career and Technical Education in the state with over 2900 students competing in more than 130 skilled, technical and leadership development competitive events. Skilled trades including construction, transportation, public safety, robotics, cosmetology, welding, drone technology, engineering, culinary, medical, mechatronics, public safety, additive manufacturing, digital media, drafting, video production, human services, and the list goes on….. So many trades and skills that affect and touch our students.

In addition to our student competitors, over 570 instructors were on-site, along with numerous visitors, volunteers and dignitaries who support building the next generation of leaders in the workforce.

Over 100 industry partners, such as Builders Mutual, 84 Lumber, NCMCA, Carolina Ford Dealers, Brady Services, Morton Buildings, Stiegler Edtech, Lowe’s and many more, help support the competitive events.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. We help each student excel.
